Packaging and re-packaging of goods. Most (dangerous) goods require packaging according the rules and regulations of the modes of transport these goods follow in their logistic chains. DGM offices have sufficient supplies to pack most of your shipments and return them to you ready for carriage. Re-packaging is necessary in case the shipment suffers from damage caused during transport or when a sudden shift of transport mode needs to take place and the packaging used is not in compliance with the new transport mode. |
Documentation.
Our DGM specialists can supply you with all Dangerous Goods related transport documentation and can assist you with obtaining Exemptions, Approvals and Certificates. Also NOTOC's and Manifests are part of our documentation portfolio.
Acceptance Checks
Accepting responsibility and liability goes hand in hand with transporting Dangerous Goods.
To reduce your liability, DGM can Check, Accept and Approve goods on your behalf before they are moved further in the transport chain. Examples of these services are Cargo Acceptance on airports, Segregation checks at seaports and Final Load Inspections.
The operational services listed above are just the three main types, please consult your local DGM office for our other services.
